Dear children,

Mommy has been thinking of doing this since I was pregnant with our first, my eldest daughter. Well after having three of you and having this burning desire to work, I decided to channel all that energy into finally taking the time to write up little and BIG things I would hope to share with you, and anyone else who may be in need of this mommy’s advice.

Here it goes..

My name is Pomona, but I like to go by Mona, and now I love to go by mama. Our Heavenly Father has blessed my husband, aka daddy, and I with three beautiful children. All three of you have brought so much joy, truth, and lessons. My goal with these letters is to show you just how beautiful and complicated life can be and to give you some insight on how to navigate through life’s obstacles. First and foremost, without our Heavenly Father’s guidance through his Word, the Bible, you will always be lost. Trust me. Mommy has lived with and without God in her life enough to tell you the truth. Mommy also went through her own battles as a young girl and young lady and I’ll be writing to you about that too.

In the end, I know I cannot keep you away from getting hurt in this world. I hope and pray and leave it in God’s hands to guide you in the right path. I want you to be happy and smart. I know my brothers and I wished for a mother’s support and love growing up so I hope to be that for you.
